Heather that piping is awesome for CP and not many times under your belt....heck it is better than many I have seen with experience. I still have not tried successfully...my two cupcake attempts were far to sad...my camera refused to take a picture of either of them.

This is actually the first time I've piped CP! But I've done a few cakes

Heather, that looks really nice! I can't wait to see it cut.
Piping CP is on my list of things to try this winter while it's a bit quieter.

This one is my "Chocolate Covered Almonds" with finely ground almonds in it. It's scented with BB's Dark Rich Chocolate and Almond FO's.

This is my Rose Clay & Sea Clay Facial Bars. Any time I have ever made them in the past I have always gelled them. Well the last time I made them the very bottom bar did not gel and I loved the pastel colors I got. So this time I decided not to gel and I am very happy. I did get a couple of air bubbles but it seems no matter what I do I always get a couple with my column mold.

The chocolate almond looks positively decadent! :D
The colors in the other bar are so pretty and soft.

Beautiful soaps and I love the clay colors.

A trick for your column mold...put a piece of plastic wrap over the end before you slide it into the end cap....this will :allow you to bang the mold and not get so much on the outside of the column and you can get the air bubbles out.

The Chocolate Almond smells amazing!!!! My whole house has smelt of nothing but chocolate and almond for the past week! I love it! It is such a bad pic of the second one but yes, I love the clay colors not gelled. I find pastel colors in soap so soothing!

Thanks for the tip Cetawin! I am going to be making some shaving bars in that mold this week as gifts for family for Xmas. I will definitely try it out!

Nice soaps Toni! Love the facial bars, such nice colours! And I hear you about the air bubbles! I wish Anne-Marie would do a soap queen short on how to tap those molds! I'm always worried the end will pop off and I'll have soap batter everywhere!

So far, I think this is my most perfect soap to date.
It traced just when I wanted it to, it smells divine, it gelled... day two out of the mold and it's really hard and silky feeling.
The colour is pefect!! I'm in love. I will make more.

30% Olive (From Costco, the big ones)
30% Coconut 76 degree
30% Palm Oil from Voyageur (It says they are eco friendly)
7% Shea Butter
3% Seabuckthorn oil (gives it the natural mango colour)

.25 per lb fragrance- Voyageur Mango Papaya fragrance
.4 oz goatsmilk powder dissolved in 1/2 ounce hot water (reserved from lye/water)
3% superfat according to soap calc
1 cotton balls-worth of raw silk (silk hanky)

LOVELY, I'm so excited and proud :)
