That happens to my 2 lb. silicon loaf mold also. Its the weight of the soap pushing out on the sides of the soft mold shape. They work great for soap, but Im having a hard time building up a contraption sturdy enough to hold it upright, because the darn thing has little flanges all around the side which are intended to hold the RIM up from the weight of the contents. Still searching for the perfect size cardboard box for that one! I usually just keep the soap in that shape, but if it really drives me crazy, while the soap is still soft-ish, I square it up by cutting the bowed sides off, and then use those scraps to roll into soap balls to give to people as samples.
