White spots on HP Soap

I've made a couple of batches of HP soap and the bars have white spots on them. I'm wondering what they are. It doesn't seem to be left over lye. I used in the recipe Coconut Oil, Palm Kernel Flakes, Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, and superfatted with Shea Butter.

They are probably little pieces of dried out soap off of the side of the cooking vessel. Without a picture I can't be 100% sure though.

Yep, that is soap that dried out a bit and didn't get saturated with colour when you mixed. As long as there is no zap your soap should be fine! :mrgreen:

or maybe it's shea butter wich is not very well melt with the soap. I don't think it's lye however... you can touch it with your tongue to be sure it's not lye.
