Teach Soap

Feedback on my new conditioner was 'more detangling' needed. I increased the cyclopentasiloxane from 0.5% to 2% and tried a batch. As soon as I began to blend the mixture at 70C the whole lot went so thick that the 400 watt blender had a lot of trouble. It was like blending cement. No amount of blending would loosen it up. So I left it.
As it cooled down I expected it to set like concrete but instead it became thinner and thinner, so that at 35C it was almost like water. Then it began to firm up again so that by the time it reached room temp it was now too thick again.

That's interesting that it got thick, thinned out then became thick again.
