Is this correct, or is my supplier not suppling the correct INCI information for the colorants.

I wrote numerous emails asking for the INCI names of the http://www.canwax.com/DC-Liquid_c_99.html and she has not reply to any of my emails. It does say ex: blue 1, etc.... but shouldn't it be listed if it has water or any other liquid, a preservative or anything like that in it.

Can someone else try to get in contact with the supplier and see what information you receive.

It would be greatly appreciated!
Thank YOu!

That's why I get my colors from BrambleBerry. The INCI is listed. http://www.brambleberry.com/LabColors-for-CP-C172.aspx

** This is my personal opinion** Ewww Canwax! Be VERY careful with them! Their fragrances are NOT body safe, even the ones that say soap safe and body safe on their site! I (and another forum member) called them and were told that ALL of their fragrances are for candles ONLY. The owner (the guy) was also exceedingly rude. I stopped using them after that phone call, and a nice rash on my niece and nephew from one of their "soap safe" fragrances.

Voyageur Soap and Candle as well as Creations From Eden are excellent Canadian sites to chose from! Great customer service too. I also like Saffire Blue, although they've mix up my orders a lot, they always send me the proper things free of charge. I think maybe I was getting the "new guy" from their pulling/packing department. All 3 have EXCELLENT customer service!

I love voyageursoapandcandle and saffire blue. I never had a problem with saffire before, and they ship very fast. Now I am wondering if ANY of my fragrances from Canwax are safe to use. :(

Example: Hot Iced Gingerbread

Under body safe fragrance oils:
it is listed under body safe.

But if you go to :
The top 10 fragrances CHRISTMAS
the Hot Iced Gingerbread (says not body safe).

ummm...???

I have alot of fragrances from this supplier and now I am wondering if I should throw them out,. I don't want to hurt myself using them.

WOW I AM SHOCKED!

I just got off the phone , finally after numerous calls, trying to ask about the "hot iced gingerbread" fragrance oil if it was skin safe or not. her response was: ya ya. so i told her that under body safe it is listed there, but under the christmas special it says it it not body safe. her response: ya ya, lol. then she goes on telling me that her system is down and she cannot check her website. that her boss will look into it later.

I am still confused, if it is or isnt body safe. As I was hanging up she told me its not body safe. :(

I, myself use this fragrance in my soaps and scrubs and now I am worried.

I would hate to throw out all my fragrance oils from this company as I have many of them. And alot of their oils, other companies do not supply the same fragrances. :(

What a dissapointment!

The more im looking at their site, the more I see problems.

Another one is the "hot apple pie". listed under body safe, but under christmas top ten fragrances, it says not body safe. :(

The owner told me that none of their fragrances are body safe, they are for candles only. Maybe you could sell yours for candle makers on Etsy? Or see if anyone here would trade for some soap/ body safe scents?

You would think that would be a BIG liability on their part. I will not order any FO's from them. I simply can't take the chance on using an FO that's not body safe. I'll stick with with vendors like BrambleBerry that know for sure their fragrances are soap or body safe.

I'm in Canada as well and I use www.newdirectionsaromatics.ca, as well as saffire blue and voyager :) I've had a look at canwax but wasn't happy with what I was seeing. If you're looking at getting rid of those fragrances, you can pm me I make candles as well and might be interested in buying them from you :)

Has anyone ever heard of the company http://www.villagecraftandcandle.com

They have many of the fragrance oils I Would need, and it does say it is skin & body safe, but now I am being cautious.

Been looking around most suppliers say (example) "grandmas kitchen" is NOT body safe, other's say it is.

Let me know what you think of this company.

I have used Village Craft and Candle, both online and in person (they're about an hour away from me) They have a whole document of what is skin safe and what isn't, and as far as I can tell it's pretty accurate. They have great customer service too :)
