I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

How does the saying go about "better the devil you know than the devil you don't know?" or some such? That's how I feel about creepy crawlies....if I KNOW them I don't mind them...but those strange devils without a name have got to GO!

We had pet snakes and lizards and such growing up...I like "domesticated non-poisonous" things now with baby critters around I guess I could feed a boa all it's life on the cheap,but I also can't risk a break out and loosing a bunch of chicks either...here in Texas there are also too many unknowns for my liking! I didn't grow up here and I still am not comfortable with the 'native creepy things'. If they have a name and I know they are not poisonous it's all good...but let a strange snake cross my path or spider that could be a brown recluse...they don't get the chance to tell me their name!

Yup, I'm a 'squish first and ask questions later' kinda rancher...we even had a spider bite drop and kill a pregnant goat this year....so I take no prisoners!
