I'm trying to make due with what I have already bought and I'm wanting to make a Lotion Bar. Here is what I have so far for ingredents. Can you help me to come up with a recipe with these ingredents and tell me step by step how and when to add the ingredents? I've been going through all my books and I just don't know how to come up with a recipe with what I have without buying more ingredents. Any thoughts? I'm sorry I'm being such a bother to you all but I'm wanting to learn how to do this but seems like I can't get started or do it all wrong.

I have in Stock:

Mango Butter OIL (This is from BB and is what my receipt said)
White Deodorized Cocoa Butter OIL (This is from BB and is what my receipt said)
Avocado Butter - OIL (This is from BB and is what my receipt said)
Jojoba Oil 4 oz. - OIL (This is from BB and is what my receipt said)

I also have some FOs and EO, Honey and Bees Wax. Can you help me come up with something? Would I have to buy more ingredents or can I use this? Hugs and Thanks, Lee

The golden jojoba behaves the same in recipes - it's just a question of the color, so you can use what you have. And yes, you can sub the cocoa butter in for the shea butter - you might want to drop the cocoa butter amount by a bit and increase the liquid oil, because cocoa butter is harder than shea is, so the lotion bar overall will be a bit harder.

You could always cut the recipe down to 1/4 the size, and try a single lotion bar the way Jennifer listed it, so you can see where you want to tweak things.

i have avacado butter. i believe it's much softer than shea, or cocoa, or mango butter.

i guess i could add more beeswax, right? maybe about another oz and a half?
