Hi Everyone!!
I was wondering if somebody can give me a tip on how to separate the soap from the soap dividers of bramble berry's 9 bar wood mold.
When I took the soap out it just broke. Soap stayed attached to the dividers. Here is a picture so you can have an idea of what's happening. Maybe there is a video I haven't seen somewhere.

I tend to rub a really light covering of mineral / baby oil over my dividers first. And then when I am ready to unmold, I pop the whole thing in the freezer for half an hour. The bars just fall out...

You can also wipe the dividers with dimethicone or cyclomethicone since neither one saponifies.

Like Irena said, I use cyclomethicone for the plastic liners (think they are the same material as the ones in the slab molds) in my wooden vertical mold for BB, and it works pretty well.

I'm cheap. :lol:

Under $2 for a bottle of baby oil and it's still going with only about 1/4 used haha
