I've been playing with my lotion recipes this morning as I want to pick just one mix and start getting my friends and family to test. Of course, one of my batches, I forgot the preservative... doh! It's only about an hour old, can I add the preservative in now? Or will it be too cold?

I don't know what preservative you're using. Some won't take more than 50C. I would heat the batch up again to say 45C, blend the preservative in, then cool again.
