I'm wondering if you have a lip balm recipe with lots of oils and butters in it and you think it will be to soft to use for lip balm tubes. Could you add more beeswax to make it firmer or would this work? If not what could you use to help firm it up? I know I'm batty

at asking silly questions but I was just wondering. Any thoughts? Hugs & thanks, Lee

Hi, it's me sticking my nose in again... I ordered some pre-made lip balm base from the wonderful Aussie Soap supplies (who make it themselves). and the ingredients are;

Olive Oil, Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, Beeswax

It's really hard in it's little tub and the flyer that came with it gives information on adding oils to soften it. I want my lip balm a lot softer and in the little tubs not the tubes. Heres a question, will adding flavour soften it a bit? Will I have to take this into account when adding the oil?
