Made my first oil infusion with calendula and I made an unscented soap batch. I am sure the soap will be awesome and skin loving but I am now just a little concerned about the scent, its kind of 'hay field' smelling which some men would like I think but woman maybe not.

Anyone else made this calendula unscented? I also chopped up a little and put it in and on for pretty-ness:)

Thanks

I make it . The scent doesn't come through in the finished soap.

Mine did and its been curing for 3 weeks:) I blame it on the bits I have put into it for looks. The calendula is flowers and petals I think, maybe that makes the difference!

Oh well, can't wait to try it anyways.

I make calendula soap with calendula-infused olive oil and a small handful of calendula petals (per 3.5lb batch). The scent doesn't come through at all if you add just a little something to mask it. I chose Yuzu.

I've made it as well. I wouldn't worry about the scent coming through.

I have found that the folded orange EO sold by Brambleberry holds up pretty well. Especially if you anchor it with a little patch and/or litsea.

I am a female and I personally like the scent of this kind of soap, if it has any! To me, any unscented soap (as in no scent additives) smells wonderfully clean and like......well, soap! Your soap may have an odor as you put it to your nose (our noses can deceive us) but when you use it in the bath you probably wont notice it at all.
