Oh dry hands time! Yeah its getting like that here in the desert, this is what I do:

slather up with lotion or balm
put on Doctor's latex type gloves
put on normal gloves
hang out for as long as practical to do so while wearing two pairs of gloves.

I have found that balms work better than commercial lotions, lotions are my during the day fix (Eucerin)

I hope your guys fare better this year due to your careful research!
