You don't whip it. You would end up with millions of little bubbles. Stir it very well instead.

That's right. (The above). Undiluted. You will see it change to a creamy consistency. Then you stir that into the main mixture.
Some FOs make stuff thicker but most make stuff thinner.

ok here how I see it I buy sodium cocoamphoacetate . stir it was the FO or EO of my choice. then pour that into my main mixture (pre-made body wash) add color.. pour using funnel into my 4 oz bottles. Is that the correct way?

Yes.
You can blend the finished wash at high speed but do not allow the blender to suck air.
Don't worry about bubbles too much though. After a few days they all find their way to the top, unless you use a polymer (and I don't see any in your formula).
There are other surfactants that make good emulsifiers but sodium cocoamphoacetate is a generally useful one to have in the cupboard :wink:

will the above work? or does anyone know of where I can get sodium cocoamphoacetate cause I looked high and low and that was all I could find. I'd really like to buy something from BB but I dont kn ow where to start. I just want some that will thicken slightly and easy to use.
