Ah but see....there are SOME benefits both internal AND external which was my first point, I just really figured it out by accident more than anything and, however small compared to ingredients one can BUY...see the caps on BUY...I "ain't gotta buy it" (as we say here in TX
) Think of it this way, lotion and cream you make may have more power as it were in a sense behind it because you are using stronger stuff, but I get the same "umph" just less punch FOR FREE with my milk...well...not really free because the goats have to eat and all...but they aren't going anywhere anytime soon...which is another story right?
So...for whatever reason it is that it works, it works....sure, learning to make it LAST more than a week or 2 may be tough, but heck, why not? Like i said, several TONS of milk EVERY year go through my kitchen...I have milk and time to spend and lord knows the goats are ALWAYS teaching me something new, so why not something FUN instead of a medical emergency this time right? (Trust me, just when you think you have them figured otu SOMEONE in the herd does SOMETHING that needs the vet ....they are rotten plotting things, but goat kisses are PRICELESS!)
Plus to be honest I would LOVE to try my hand at soaps...with milk in them...but I figured lotions are gonna be safer for me for NOW...it's too hot outside and I don't wanta be using lye inside...soap will have to wait just like cheddar cheeses until winter time...
And the yogurt thing made me laugh, I still attempt things that should NOT be yogurt and yet somehow manage to become just that...hey, it happens
Just have to tweak things and try again I figure
On the bright side I ordered a TON of "stuff" today...now I await it's arrival to begin my adventures in creation...ought to be a hot mess but a fun one to make
