Teach Soap

Morning everybody.
Have a question in relation to cold process cup cake soap. Can you double up on the paperliners and place them in an ordinary cupcake pan ( non-silicone), to help hold it's shape until soap hardens, or does it pose a problem with the soap reacting to the metal?

If you get any of your soap on the pan, the lye from your soap will likely react with the pan. But you could put saran wrap over your pan first to protect it. Just make sure you push the saran wrap down into the little cup wells ofcourse

What a great Idea.

Make sure you get some decent liners. I first bought cheap ones from Walmart and they were a mess to remove when I went to test. I ended up just buying silicone cupcake molds from eBay. They work great!

Yup and silicone is easy to unmold and easy to clean.
