I've seen much more far-fetched claims on online stores haha. Ethically it's no different than listing the benefits of goat's milk or shea butter. Obvious ones anyway, like creamy lather or moisture retention, which seems to also be properties of sodium lactate if all of this information is accurate. So exciting to look at SL in a different light, instead of strictly just a hardening agent.

Ok...I ordered the SL and have it in hand and plan to use tomorrow. I know you use 1-3% but is that the percentage of the entire batch or the oils? I just want to make sure I dont blow another batch out by using too much.

Okay, So I made my first batch of soap using Sodium Lactate last night, and WOW...

I made it less than 12 hours ago, and I was able to un-mold/cut it this morning..... also, the freezer paper literally peeled off the loaf without ANY effort!

I'm sold! definitely a must have for recipes without palm.
