Let's try this again! I was a little nervous to try them because of all of the threads I've read where people have had problems with them. The recipe I started with didn't have enough oil in it, so I just kept adding oil until the consistency was right. I didn't measure beyond the recipe, so I have no idea how these will be a few days from now. I scented them with lavender, and they smell awesome!!

Those look great Semplice!! I love making bath bombs! If they get crumbly you can just break them up and add them to bath salts to make fizzy salt! They don't look like they will get crumbly though! Nice job! :mrgreen:

Thanks! I knew I didn't pack that last one tightly enough, but it was fun dropping the pieces into a measuring cup full of water!

I'm going to try witch hazel instead of water next time. I also want to use milk powder in the mixture.

Bath bombs are frustrating to master, but once you do they are awesome fun. I don't use any witch hazel in mine, but do use goat's milk powder. My kids love having the bombs in their bath and I love that the goat's milk helps calm my son's skin.

I used liquid colorant and added that to my wet ingredients. I must not have added enough because nothing came through. I want to get some lanthanol so that they bubble.

I've got them in a ziplock bag for now. They're rock hard and do exactly what they're supposed to in the bathtub! Yay!

I ordered some bath bomb colorants and some lanthanol powder, so I can't wait for the next round!!!
