Teach Soap

I packaged some bath salts in clear, zip-top stand up bags from Lotion Crafters and sealed them. (They were colored with mica and had a small amount of FO added to them.) Took them with me to a market yesterday where it was HOT and after a few hours I noticed that there was moisture in the bags. Aaaaccckkkkk! I did not sell them and brought them back home.
There is still moisture in the bags. What should I do? Are they salvageable? If so, should I dump them from the bags and let them air dry more, spread out on a tray, or should I toast them in the oven at a low temp?
Also, is there a way to avoid this in the future? Or is that just the nature of bath salts in high heat?

Some salts have more moisture then others. You can try to put them on a lined cookie sheet and dry them in a low oven.

Dead Sea Salt is known for attracting moisture. I'd cut the Dead Sea Salt and just use Sea Salt.

You can use regular table salt instead.

Carrie, regular sea salt will give you that label appeal as well. And that is easy to find in the grocery store.

There is one I get called "Mediterranean Sea Salt". Sounds fancy but does not have the moisture problem for me. I was making fizzy bath salts (like bath bombs kind of) and when I used dead sea salts the whole salty mix liquified over night (exploded out of its container and onto my carpet). The dead sea salts can contain alot of moisture. I do not currently have another use for them, other than throw them in my own bath.
