Teach Soap

Ordered my stuff from BB to try my first lotion bars. The recipie I plan on using is
1/2 oz Shea Butter
1/2 oz Mango Butter
1 oz Peach Kernel Oil
1 oz Candelia wax
do you think that is to much wax? I know its harder than beeswax but with it being 100+ outside i wondered if the whole ounce woud be better. Open to any suggestions on changing percentages to make a better bar. Plan on making 3oz bars

The one really nice thing about making lotion bars is that you can remelt them and add more oils if you need to do so.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Candelilla wax is a very hard wax. I would try it without it, or only use half as much in your recipe. Be aware that it might take up to three days before the lotion bar will reach its final consistency.

If I cut it in half should I up the oil or one of the butters? Have to stay with that wax since the hubby is vegan.
