Hello everyone

Im new to the forum, and wanted to make my own hand sanitizer it looks easy, but wondered if anyone has made it and how it works, also has anyone tried vodka instead of alcohol in their recipe?

My mom is a nurse and in her hospital they're being bombarded with directives that they must wash their hands for at least one chorus of twinkle twinkle little star, the alphabet song, or 20-30 seconds whichever comes first. And when prepping a site for an injection, IV, or anything they're required to santize with site with betadine for at least 20 seconds also.
She laughs at me because i always did wash my hands for 30-60 seconds. (I hate washing my hands in cold water! Most public places the water doesn't start to get warm until after 30 seconds. )
