I need a new soap pot, something larger, and found this plastic garden bucket. It has handles and the top can be sqeezed together to make pouring easier. Up to now I've used SS but to save money I'm going plastic this time. Do any of you see any problems with this pot?

I think that should be fine. Make sure that you have enough room at the top to contain any splashes.
