Teach Soap

Heh I finally took pictures, mostly because I'm going to be working on setting up brochures and website soon, so I needed them anyway. I need to get a better background though. The black part of the photos were actually the woods behind the house 50-70 yards away.

My redone OMH. Currently breaking in the 9-bar BB russian birchwood mold


Left is unscented (dented only, no DOS), right is Autumn Warmth.


Back bar is Leather, my only HP batch. Front left is Autumn Warmth, front right is Oatmeal Milk & Honey - all I had left from the accidental cooking of the rest of the batch.


Castile, using madder root for the marble-type swirl.

Very nice, Vanessa! I like the madder root swirl. I hope it doesn't fade like mine did.

I hope it doesn't either, but its been 2 months now and its still just as strong as it ever was. Wouldn't matter to me though, because its for my mother I explained that the color may not stick and she didn't care, wanted me to do it anyway.

Love the madder root swirl! I've only used madder root once (and had mixed it with indigo), so I'm curious to see how it does in other's soaps. These are very pretty!

The oval ones are just a silicone individual cavity mold.

Currently out of stock But thank you all I really like how they look with the crinkle cut. I only did it because I couldn't find my regular cutter But now I like it. A flat side and a crinkle side. Great guest size too since I only had the cavities filled about 50%.

Just poured. Playing with swirls and my Nizzy Mold (paid for them, might as well use em!)
Scent is Black Amber Linen which is yummy, but fear of ending up with an almost black soap saw me hold back and as a result there's hardly any black lol. Doh! The batter also got quite thick which I think is due to my Sodium Lactate I added as this mold doesn't fit in my freezer.

Deb, good try on that hanger swirl. I got a little better luck with it by adding chopsticks to my hanger. Still I think you need a thin batter to work with. I like the color.
