Melissa, love the chunk soap! I tried some last Christmas using whatever "chunks" I had around. Didn't like the results. You've motivated me to try again.

Here are soaps cast from a mold I made myself this week - I love this Four-Faced Buddha sculpture and spent weeks figuring out the mold. It's not quite right, but it's a start. Just wish silicone mistakes weren't so expensive He's little - 2 inches wide by about 2-1/2 inches high. But, dense - 3 ounces.

After learning that most people don't like smelling like an after-dinner mint, I wondered what on earth I was going to do with the bottle of peppermint patty FO. Then I had someone request some for their niece who can't stop eating mint slice biscuits. I thought I would have a play at making some round soaps, but of course I don't actually have any true round molds - ones that are straight on the sides. These were a close second. They're ok...



The following however, was inspiration hitting me smack across the face. I picked up an awesome scent from the local Auroma down the road - Tropical Coconut. I originally got it for the hair detanglers, but had this flash of an idea to create a soap that had a bit of beach, a palm tree and the sun. Pretty chuffed with how it turned out.

Coolah, those are awesome! I like the mint cookie look myself But then, I love Oreos and Andes Mints so that's a double whammy for me The beach looks spectacular!

I'm still wondering how Coolah does it beach soap in a loaf pan... cause I had a heck of a time with my chunk loaf. How do you do it coolah???
