Teach Soap

should I use? I bought some vanilla flavor oil from Camden-Grey and it doesn't say how much to use. I emailed them and the couldn't tell me. Has anyone used this or something similar? It is for lip balms.

I would start at 1% and up it to 2% if it's not strong enough.

Have you tried this out yet?

I used WSP's lip balm base and BB's stevia, flavor oil and mica following their directions (scaled to small amount for about 20 tubes) and couldn't taste a darn thing, tried to add more and hubby said he didn't taste much either. Sure does look pretty from the shamrock green mica though!

I used margarita flavor oil - it still smells like nothing. But figured the sweetener should kick in. Which ever way the sense psychology works, it's no where near the "lip smackin" I'd like it to be and just tastes/smells like wax.


was a small batch (enough for 20 .15 oz tubes) 3 oz base, 6 mini scoops stevia and about 40 drops of flavor oil out of dropper. poured at 135F

Flavour oils, despite the name, don't actually have any flavour. I can smell all my lip balms though. I have a coconut one that is driving me nuts atm, mouth waters every time I apply it.
