Teach Soap

I've searched the archives here, but am having difficulty finding what I need since the term "beeswax" is so common!
I'd like to eventually try a batch of soap with added beeswax, but cannot find how much to add. I see that it is listed on SoapCalc along with the oils and was wondering what a standard percentage to use was.
Also, besides accelerating trace, are there any other "red flags" to be aware of when using beeswax? (I would assume that you need to soap at a relatively higher temp so that the beeswax does not completely solidify before pouring into the mold.)

I soap at around 110 degrees (US) and add beeswax at about 1%. I have no issues with acceleration.
