I'm gearing up to do my first luffa/loofah soap. Since I was was off with the amount of pumice I needed for my other soap, I thought I'd ask here before just going with the recommended amount of 1 T. loofah PPO. I want to be able to really feel the loofah when I use the soap!
If it makes a difference, the loofah I'm using is the stuff from BB.

I use about 1 teaspoon per pound of oils and it is very noticeable in every use.

Is the loofah already shredded? If not and you really want to feel the scratchyness... try cutting a round piece of the loofah and place it in the mold then pour your soap over the loofah. As for myself I would only use this on my feet. For my shredded loofah I use 1tsp for gental exfolliation and up it to 1 Tablespoon PPO for like a garden\mechanics soap.

Yes, the loofah is already shredded (I purchase it from BB). BUT......when our own loofah comes in (from the garden) it will be a different story!

Thanks for the tips on the amounts....that was in the ballpark of what I was thinking.
