Hi,

Long time lurker and first time poster. I've been making CP soap for about two months now (mostly successfully) and I am completely addicted! Thanks to this forum, a variety of books and web sites, things have moved along pretty well. :)

I finally ran into something I haven't been able to find an answer for...

I have a recipe I am dying to try that calls for 13oz of shea oil. Brambleberry is out of stock (when I checked earlier today) and the other supplier I've used only carries "Shea Butter liquid", Amazon carries "Shea Butter Oil". Are either of these viable or -- better yet -- the same thing as Shea Oil but named differently?

Sorry if it's a silly question. Thanks in advance.

Shea butter and Shea oil are similar, but the butter will give you a harder bar.
