thanks! I wish I was talented enough to just freehand something on a plain bar. Something tells me it would look like a 5 year old did it :) Maybe I could try stencils :)

I'm sorry to bombard you with all my photos but i have been very busy the last 3 days getting ready for my first market. These are my 'attempts' at making pretty slices of soap. Not sure if i suceeded but then I am my worst critic.

Spice Market:

Lime Cilantro: (fail! layers failed but i think still looks nice)

by , on Flickr

Butt Naked: (unsure about this one... it was supposed to have a white scroll thing in the middle but it was my first attempt and didnt work)

by , on Flickr

Morning Coffee: hmm can't fault this one...

by , on Flickr

Pina Colada: Its my favourite Scent and you'll start to notice that I may over use it a bit hehe

Thanks Soap Buddy

And these are my little babies, I dont want to post them on my FB page because I have noticed lately certain things i post are then copied by others, and I am very proud of these soaps.
Would like some feedback please? The soap just easily slips out of the plastic cup.

Wouldn't say that are 100% original but I have not seen them before, but you never know.

Those are very nice! I have seen MP margaritas with a lime slice like that. How would you wrap them?

ealamm - Lovely painted soaps! I haven't tried painting soaps yet. A steady hand is not something I was blessed with!

goddessbec - I'd have a hard time choosing if I were your customer! I think I'd have to pick one of each! They're lovely!

thank you for all the lovely comments!! As for wrapping... i'm going to just wrap it up in cellophane, with a bow. Havnt really thought about wrapping  the drinks were also my first play with Extra Clear from Aussie Soap Supplies even though I have had it for about a year. If i had shrink wrap i would wrap the soap part first but i dont unfortunetly. See how I go after this market, maybe i will sell enough to buy one hehe

Forgot to say that they were Pina Colada (suprise!) Mai Tai, Margarita and "Fun" on the Beach.

Love the soaps Bec and good luck for the market - I notice the Butt Naked one is a take on Mary's soap - nice version. Hope you get good sales!
Love the cocktail glass soaps too Im sure they will be a good seller (though I have seen them before so you arent the first to come up with that idea Im afraid)
Viv :D

Beautiful painted soaps, ealamm! Your work looks very precise and the colors are beautiful.

Goddessbec, love all of your soaps! I especially like the looks of the Butt Naked bars, and the Lime Cilantro with the crinkle cut. The martini soaps are cute, too! :)

I love your soaps goddessbec! My painted ones looked all neat and detailed at first but now have a faded blurry look! I will have to maybe try again and make them darker and try to stay in the lines better lol.
