Teach Soap

Ok so first batch is ready to take out of the 4 pound BB loaf mold, but how the heck do you get it out? It says under the description of the mold just undo the bold and take out, but how? Arg I'm frustrated.

Is it a wooden loaf mold? Did you line it, or is it the vertical loaf with inserts?

Its a wooden loaf mold like this Yes I did line it.

Well, take the wing nuts out, loosen the side, and then lift out bynthe paper you lined with. Then peel away the paper.

ok thats what I kinda though. Are the sides just really hard to get out the first time?

Dunno. I have the verticall mold, and it wasn't difficult.

ok my mold is being a subborn pain in the you know what. I cant get the sides off. Arrrg!

What did you line the mold with?

wax paper

Oh. Freezer paper works much better for future reference. Hope you can get it out!

ok update got one side and the ends off thanks to my dad, but apparently the wax paper was a very bad idea because I still cant budge the soap. I might just have to trash this loaf and get ot off by any means possible. The wax paper is sticking. So much for my first batch. Gonna get freezer paper Wednesday when I get paid.
