Just got done making my very first batch. I dont think I did too bad. I wasnt sure about the lab colors yet so I just used a dropper. But now I know to dilute them. Its now insulated and setting my by fireplace. Its a lot of work to make a batch, but hopefully it wull be worth it in the end. Also discovered I need a better temperature gun, I hae a mini one and it sucks. I cant wait till tomorrow!!!

Congratulations on making your first CP batch, yourillusion! I remember how proud I was of my first batch. Waiting to use it was the hardest part. Here's to many more successful batches!

Yes...you must give a report on it once you unmold and cut it!
Is it just me, or does anticipation like this remind you of the excitement when a friend goes into labor?????

As you do more and more batches the entire process seems less daunting. But still there is nothing like unmolding the first few batches. The big wait comes when you go for the 4-6 week cure. That is why I like to make about a batch a week.... then I always have one that is done!

I meant a "just poured" picture! Its neat to see the difference between just poured and then unmolded!
