Heather I love the idea of seeing the different swirls to compare. Can't wait to see the differences. The colors are great.

Coolah your swirls are magnificent. You are an artist. Love the colors and how the swirls come together.

Thanks for both of you for the inspiration.

Rhonda

My second attempt at a swirl. Aquamarine blue, titanium oxidefor the white and yellow oxide. It was a faux swirl I saw on You Tube. I think it turned out pretty good...........

except for the streaks while cutting from undissolved titanium dioxide I think. I even pre mixed with some oil.

It has a Yuzu FO. Behaved very well. I like it. Nice light FO.
Will the colors change much as it cures?? It did gel.

Good job Rhonda! Yuzu doesn't discolor on me, so the colors should stay as they are.

Rhonda, great swirl! Check your titanium dioxide - some can only be mixed with oil and some can only be mixed with water. I think BB's can be mixed with either.

Such beautiful pralines, Coolah! You're right, it's pretty enough to be "other peoples" soaps!

Hestey, love your faux funnel soaps and your swirly Sunny Days soap!

Coolah, your cupcakes are so cute - the piping looks great. And I love your Caramelized Praline soap!

Love the colors in your Yuzu soap, Rhonda! Sounds like a wonderful fragrance. :)

Been watching this thread for a while, and everyone's soaps are so beautiful! It would take me too long and too much interwebs to list everything I love about all of them!

I've wanted to post a few of mine but I don't have a real camera other than my iphone so I was holding off. (Also a little intimidated!) I had a friend take some pictures for me for a flyer for a Mother's Day event at my work this week, and they are so beautiful I wanted to share them, even though they might not be exactly the kind I am supposed to post here. I am just so tickled with how they turned out! (Can I say tickled?)

Image
This is my favorite soap (of mine), it's a lard, coconut, olive, cocoa butter, castor hot process. With Peppermint EO and real melted chocolate ripples.

Image

Image
These are soap bundles I put together for the event, an all natural CP with Clove and Cinnamon Leaf EOs and paprika infused olive oil plus poppy seeds, oatmeal and local Louisiana honey made with an oatmeal "milk," and grapefruit, orange and lime with lemon peel (that one seems to be hiding!). Also a HP bundle with spearmint, the chocolate ripple, and "The Lime in the Coconut" with walnut shells. (Sorry for the close up, it was such great detail!)

Image
A hot process charcoal soap made with aloe vera liquid, tea tree and lavender EOs.

Sorry for the sheer number of images, I am just so proud of the quality of them! It's like someone said a page or two back, I feel like I am looking at "other people's soap."

Nice job gladly. Orange oil tends to fade in soap.
