Teach Soap

Just bought 4 x 1Kg of aromas and my IFF rep brought me lots of samples:
mango butter - pretty strong
almond, cherry - I fancy trying these two together.
Then there's kiwi, pear, apple, and chocolate.
It's interesting that some aromas are pretty much double the price of others. That implies different prices for soap. However it's too complicated so I think I will use the average instead.

You'll have to let us know how these all turn out, post some pictures too!

Cherry/Almond sounds fabulous! There is one local soap maker who charges the same for all her soaps, I'm sure she is just estimating an average cost.

Cherry and almond - that is the orginal scent of jergens hand lotion. I remember getting a small bottle in my Christmas stocking when I was about 8 and fell in love with it then. Will be interested to hear how yours turns out.

What does the mango butter smell like? Is it anything like unrefined mango?

The mango butter is amazing. It is the strongest of all of the samples. It smells just like mango ( I had a ripe one in the refri to compare). I accidentally got a tiny amount on my fingers and for an hour or so the fragrance was everywhere. I enjoyed it for a while but finally went to scrub it off. It is the most expensive one, $23 a kilo.
