Teach Soap

Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) is so damn difficult to handle! I use it but I hate measuring it, because it is thicker than syrup and sticky. I use it in shampoo, not hand creams though. If you check commercial recipes you generally do not find vitamin E as a component.

Personally, for someone who hasn't done CP soap, and is still unsure about MP soap, I wouldn't be touching handcreams or lotions with a 100 foot pole!

Good idea, that, about the oil. I don't measure like that, though. It is such a small amount that I'll place the beaker for 'low % use" ingredients on the scale, zero it, and use a glass rod dipped into the tocopheryl, then I hold the rod above the beaker and let it slowly drip off... it's so dense that it hardly takes anything to get 0.2% in a 3Kg batch.
