What makes these two so uniquely different?
Is one better than the other?

I ask, because I'm currently using a M&P kit to start with and plan on doing several different products in the future. I'm curious as to the differences of these two methods.

Thanks again for being helpful.

MP usually has alcohol and sugars. It is premade and can be remelted easily. It can be used immediately.

CP has ingredients to suit your taste. It needs to be cured for at least 3 weeks. Once cured it can be rebatched, but you will not get a smooth texture and feel like you do with MP.

I do both, but it's a manner of personal preference.
