When it comes to labelling I know that if you have sodium chloride listed once then you dont have to re-list it, but here is my question.

I have both: dead sea salt, and dendritic salt in my recipe. So the inci would be sodium chloride for both.

example: i have sodium chloride (dead sea salt), baking soda, sodium chloride (dendritic salt), oil, etc....

would I be listing it that way, or any other suggestions would be apprechiated. Thanx in advance.

Ingredients are normally listed in order of predominance. This is from the FDA web site. The way I understand it, you don't need to use the INCI; common name is sufficient.

What labeling information is required?
The following information must appear on the principal display panel:

An identity statement, indicating the nature and use of the product, by means of either the common or usual name, a descriptive name, a fanciful name understood by the public, or an illustration [21 CFR 701.11].
An accurate statement of the net quantity of contents, in terms of weight, measure, numerical count or a combination of numerical count and weight or measure [21 CFR 701.13].

Irena, the link isn't working. I thought you had to use INCI for "cosmetics," including anything not soap???
