My orange and grapefruit trees are in full flower at the moment and the lovely scent is so strong it can make me dizzy if I go out there and stick my head amongst the branches.
I've been asking around my local chemical factors here (I'm lucky, there are dozens) and one of my suppliers tells me they have orange blossom fragrance. Since the minimum order is 5Kg I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this fragrance in CP soap (I guess it will be fine in shampoo and creams) before I take the plunge. Probably the price will be pretty good.

Generally suppliers who sell in that quantity will provide samples. 5 KG is a big commitment for an unknown fragrance.

Fragrances have many ingredients to make them smell what they are. Unless you specifically ask for a fragrance that is soap safe, you might end up with some undesirable results. I've gotten samples of orange blossom that smelled like cat pee once put into soap. So just a heads up.

I'm sure that there are essential oils available there in the larger cities. Try a few grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange essential oils if you can find them from a well known health food store, pharmacy or brand name. I hope that helps.

If you are close to San Diego there is a fragrance oil business there I believe.

I love Mexico have been fortunate to have visited over a dozen times since my early adulthood. It's been many years since my last visit from camping to high end it was all beautiful.

Real, undiluted orange blossom is very expensive. You can buy a 3% dilution, but I would think that would be lost in soap.
