Teach Soap

While buying honey powder today, I had to buy something else, otherwise I was charged for not buying enough. My husband likes to drink Japanese tea, using matcha green tea powder. I know that there is a matcha green tea FO, but I was wondering if I could put the actual tea powder in cold process soap? I'm going to test it in a recipe small enough for one 5 oz bar, but I thought I would ask on here, too.

I have green tea powder to soap, I've only used it in MP so far tho. Doesn't add any scent really, and the colour fades. It is supposed to be good for acne prone skin though as it has astringent properties.

You can add matcha tea powder, but it will oxidize and turn tan to brown depending how much you use. Do I understand correctly that your TOTAL recipe for a CP soap is only 5 ozs., or are you making a bigger batch and separating it out into different molds with different additives?

BB does have a matcha tea FO. I recieved a sample of it with one of my orders. It has a light but definate tea scent. I did like it and it blends well with alot of other fragrances.

Wow, 5 OZ! You could mix that in a coffee cup.
