OH NO another obsession. Doesn't that sound better than addiction? There is more fun to be had with lotions too!

A whole new sub forum for lotions to rummage threw! My very first lotion that I thought was a failure until it cooled down and took a shape.

My hairdresser is testing it for me along with three others and my dh!

Looks great, Mella! I'm getting ready to send off 2 samples of my lotion (1 unused and 1 I've been using for 3 weeks) to have it tested for bacteria, etc. I'm confident that I've done everything possible to ensure I have a safe product, but the lab testing will allow me to be sure.

Linda this is just for fun really at this point. I certainly would have a lab take a look at any lotion I might make before selling. I mean mold gross, never have had that happen to old stuff laying around from Este Lauder or Sephora, or B&BW! That said I'm probably over kill on the alcohol wipe down of everything but the cat! :lol:

Can beeswax be considered an emulsifier? Like as an emulsifier in a lotion? What properties would beeswax bring to a lotion?
