I decided to live on the edge and play with an ITP swirl, it turned out alright, not quite how I wanted it. The edge on my bucket made the soap pour funny, think I need to invest in something with a spout or an easier to pour edge. The bucket I have was a candy cane tub from work LOL Big wide thick edge. Here it is though! Bergamot ITP swirl with deep blue in what should be white or white-ish. You can see the nice royal blue down in the bottom left corner. My bro said he wanted that colour because it would make him cleaner! He's a big goof ball!

Looks like you swirled after you poured? Or did you get that effect in the pot? (I assume that's what ITP stands for?)

I swirled the top a little, as that will be the tops of the bars. That soap is only about an inch thick. I need a deeper mold so I can see the inside swirls too! Maybe if I did a bigger batch next time I could cut them to see the inside ones... hrm... =D *ding* idea lightbulb!

ITP swirls are a hit and a miss. I think you did well for your try.

I LOVE how this soap looks!! I wanted to go a dark blue swirl into a light blue base. Instead I got the coolest blue ever swirl into a blue-tinged-white base. Given the scent is 'The Perfect Man' which aaaalmost smells like Cool Water, I think it's a perfect match! LOVE IT!

Thanks! I'm soooo happy with it! I reckon it's the best one I have done so far lol. And it was interrupted and everything. I noticed it was still a bit soft/sticky when I was cutting it - I think that's because of the lard? Might need to leave the next batch 2 (or maybe even 3?) days before I cut it...

Hestey, good job. ITP swirls are my favorite.

Coolah, I love the color as well. Now comes the wait to let them cure.

Its been in the fridge for over 12 hours and its still super soft, but I anticipated that since its got castor oil in it. I'll leave it for a couple more days and hopefully it'll firm up. Its amazingly hard not to run over and keep checking it every 30 minutes! But I get lots of time to plan my next batch =D
