I just want to say the biggest, most MASSIVE thank you to not only this forum, but especially soapbuddy. When I first started this glorious adventure, I came across another soap forum and joined to ask a question. The so called 'admin' was the rudest person I had ever come across and after neglecting to even remotely answer my question, followed up with an attack of me, then proceeded to delete my account and kick me off their forum labeling me as "just another one of those 'it's Xmas, I'll melt some soap' losers".
Thankfully I have tough skin and saw this self proclaimed 'carebear' as a good reason to never visit that site again. After continuing my research and internet browsing, I found Teachsoap and not only have I been welcomed with open arms, nothing I have asked so far has been treated with anything less than the respect I in turn hold for all of you wonderfully knowledged individuals here.
So thank you. From a newbie hoping to do doing this for the next 50 years, I thank you (especially soapbuddy) for making me feel welcomed, sharing your knowledge and wisdom and giving me the support to continue! I would hate to think how many other's have given up this addictive and extremely fun (and rewarding!) hobby because they were treated the way I was when they asked a 'newbie' question.
I look forward to the day I can assist another up and comer with the same kindness you have shown me so far.
