Hi folks, I must just be old fashion or maybe its a local thing but I don't know a thing about these scrubs. Is it just for your face? How often do you use it? Is it just to take off dead skin? I 've never used them. Whitch is better salt or sugar? Im just now starting to see them at craft shows around here. But not many. Linda

I think sugar and salt scrubs are mainly to exfoliate arms and legs - I think they would be too abrasive for the face.

I like sugar scrubs because they don't sting if I have little cuts on my hands and feet. But many salts have helpful minerals.

I used to use sugar scrub occasionally on my face. Its very nice in the winter time.

I just made a batch of sugar scrub tonight. Here is my recipe...

3 cups Dark Brown Sugar
1 cup Colloidal Oatmeal
1/4 cup Honey
1 grated bar of CP Oatmeal, Milk and Honey Soap
Jojoba Oil drizzled till saturated
2-3 tbsp Oatmeal Milk and Honey Fragrance Oil

Combine in order till incorporated....whip in KitchenAid blender until creamy in texture. Pipe into jars. Very soft and supple skin...

Sometime I put in 1/2 cup of Dead Sea salt and sometimes I use Apricot Kernel Oil also.

It is a creamy milky color...the oatmeal must be ground to flour form (thus colloidal)
