Can someone tell me what I should do? I made a batch of Shaving soap a week ago tomorrow.
I have it curing on my cookie rack. And I noticed it is getting a White powder like all over the outside of it.
It was a cinnamon like brown at first,but this white is creeping up all over it. Is it from the LYE?
When I first mdke it,it was getting to hot and I put it in the freezer over night,then took it out the next day,and sliced it after it thawed out. :shock:

I've heard wiping it off with alcohol will work but not sure.
