I would like to try a batch of the hot processing method.
But I'm not for sure if I use a crock pot how long does it have to cook?

How big of a batch? For a small batch, I would check it in about 45 minutes. Keep it on low, so your soap doesn't volcano.

Also, you'll want to make sure your soap amount will fit in the crockpot. You need at least 2-3 inches of room from the top of your soap to the top of your pot. This will give it room to puff up while cooking.

Me again everyone,
I was reading up on OHP soaps. It sounds very interesting too! is there anyone of you who do that?

It's me again,
I'm trying to make my HP soap.in my crockpot. It says I must stir until trace,I thought it was starting to trace,but then
it is acting more like it's separating.looks kinda like thin apple sauce. is it supposed to look and act like that?

Well I just let it keep cooking and it went to that vasilne stage. And than I added my FO and Color,after I let it cool a little.
Placed it in my mold. Seems to look okey. I'll know more when I take it out of the mold.
