Congratulations on your first batch, LilacLady! How exciting!
I let my bars cure on a wire shelving unit. I love it because I can store all of my soaping stuff in one place on the shelves, and I don't have to worry about turning the bars because air can pretty much get to all the surfaces (I may give it a turn a week after cutting so air gets to the parts resting on the wire parts of the shelf). If you don't have a shelving unit, you could get a cooling rack, like the kind you let cookies cool on, if you want ventilation. If you're anything like me, soon you'll have so much soaping paraphernalia that you will need a shelving unit (or, in my case, two).

You will soon have so much soap that you won't know what to do with it! I haven't bought a bar of soap from the store in almost 3 years. Every once in a while I will buy soap at a craft show or farmer's market because I do like to try other people's handmade soaps.
