Teach Soap

Hey Cat picked up some LUSH @ Honolulu today! Every soap I ever swapped and every soap friends have sent me of their batches, guess what, they beat the LUSH hands down. The staff at the Waikiki Ala Mauna Center aren't knowledgeable about their products, only about sales tactics!

Very pretty soaps, Karri! The Orange Tea fragrance sounds fantastic! I loooooooove orange and patchouli together, and those plus peppermint sounds divine!

Nice HP soaps, soapyjoes! Love the texture and colors.

Here are a few soaps I made last weekend. I'm trying out a new fragrance vendor and all but one of the FOs have worked out great. The blue/green soap is made with Ocean Breeze FO and it super accelerated trace and gel! I was going to do a nice ITP swirl but ended up with soap on a stick and just glopped it into my mold. (Nope - no palm oil at all!) Gel started within 5 minutes of getting in the mold. The peach & cream color soap is made with Tangerine Grapefruit FO and smells really nice. The other is unscented goat's milk soap with lemon peel powder.

Oooh I love those flowers! The two-tone citrus looks especially summery and mouthwatering.

For just "glopping" into the mold those green/blue ones turned out awesome too

How are you liking no-palm? I think I did one or two multi-oil / butter recipes without palm. Not sure what I think yet ... the one with 10% and no palm has been curing for a month and in my mind it's still pretty soft...
