I wanted to make some dog shampoo and was asked to fragrance it with EO's (which I do not use a lot of) they wanted Lemongrass and Lavender. I am thinking about 1.50 oz added to 12 cups of liquid dog shampoo, do you think that is too much EO's??? Thanks!

I would go 0.5 oz., maybe a little more, but 1.5 ozs. for 24 ozs. sounds like too much to me.

Sorry, I haven't been on this thread in a while. 1.4 oz would be a 1 1/2% solution [in 96 ounces of soap]. That is more in line with an animal dose, unless it is a small dog, then I would go even lower, and that is total, for the blend, correct? If not, it should be.
