Thanks einnoc I learned something today. The reason you couldn't see the photo is because I deleted it on photobucket as I try not to have dups. I didn't know that photos we share were still hooked up to that site! So I've posted the one I kept.

I actually love how the bleeding colours turned out in that one!

I finally managed to finish my planet theme! So here are the outer 4 planets (and yes, I'm still of the mind that Pluto is a planet!):

Saturn- spooned layers (colors didn't show so well- it's light gold mica, light purple, and black swirls), Eden's Garden FO


Uranus- layers, cold and hot poured swirls (white was cold, yellow was hot into a warm-ish blue base); Energy FO


Neptune- spoon swirl layers, Relaxing FO


Pluto- tilted layers, Blackberry Spice FO


I'm still working on getting them all wrapped and labeled and if you would like after that's done I can post a pic showing the entire set

Oh my gosh, Uranus is amazing! Love the colours. I feel like I've been making M&P for some time now but I haven't perfected any form of swirling or textures. I guess it's time to get to practicing and make some "Oops!" soaps, LOL I'm sure there will be a few!

I love all the swirling techniques I've just been playing around with the soaps. But I love the fact that with the swirled soap, it looks different after each use! It's fun to see what pattern pops up next. I seem to be a little impatient with layers, but swirling is coming naturally to me. I think I shall be sticking to swirled soaps as my signature design style.

Great job, tcmatteson! The swirling is fantastic. They are all stunning, but I especially love Saturn and Uranus. What a neat idea to make soaps representing the planets!
