I there anyone shrink wrapping their CP? Like for in consignment or for wholesale customers? Is their maybe shrink wrap that has micro holes in it? I know there is such material for bakery bags, to bag hot bread. I could put my label over that.

I don't shrink wrap as CP soap still shrinks over time, making the shrink wrap loose.

The Nova Studio sells shrink wrap and wand and they use it for CP soaps. The wrap has microscopic holes that allow the soap to breath and the fragrance to pass threw.

Thanks Mella, I called these folks after watching the video. I asked if they ever sent out samples so we can try this shrink wrap . He said send me a few bars of soap and he will shrink wrap them and send them back so I can see if it's somthing Id like to do for my company. Im inclined to take them up on their offer. Then I asked them how much a bar it costs to shrink wrap my CP he said a few pennies a bar.

Linda I sent this company an email asking for a sample of the 60 ply I believe with perforations. The person answering the email sent me some. I think one would need the entire system which I have seen demonstrated twice, however I just don't have the room right now. I'm now using poly bags for my outdoor market which begins in June, I use a paper punch to put a few breathing holes in inconspicuous spots.

Where did you find the poly bags your useing? Got a picture of your soaps in them? Im thinking Id need 1200 of the bags.

I bought these from uline. Uniline Poly Bags 4Z6 1.5 MIL resealable polypropylene bags number S-7078. I cut off what I don't need and if I do it right I can wrap a second soap. These come 100 to a pack and they come with a sealing strip. I don't remember what the cost was but it was reasonable. I cut holes to let the soap breath and allow some fragrance out.
