Photobucket is not available today so I tried flickr, but I can't seem to get the image to load... How do you post an image from flickr?

PS. you can visit my blog (link at the bottom) for a photo tutorial!

Just wow! This thread is incredibly inspiring! All the soaps are so pretty and unique and I love looking through and seeing how everyone does all their different techniques!
I'm a new member here and have been a member at Craftster.org for a while. One of the challenges over at craftster is to post a project in every section they have. Well, they have a Bath and Body section which inspired me to try my hand at M&P soap making. After reading a plethora of information on how to make soap I stumbled upon Brambleberry and SoapQueen and went and bought enough supplies to make my first two loafs of soap :)

This one is from the swirl kit from Brambleberry (they didn't have the blue colorant at the time and sent black, but I went ahead and bought green oxide and used that instead). I call it Citrus Fields and the Yuzu scent is surprisingly wonderful! I had never heard let alone smelt Yuzu before and I love love love it!

My second batch is called BreakTime. The bottom layer is a oatmeal base scented with Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey FO and I swirled in some clear base with light gold mica to simulate streams of honey swirled throughout. The second layer is white base with Chocolate Espresso FO and some hazelnut coffee grounds mixed in. I was hoping it would turn a darker brown color because of the vanilla that was in the FO, but I think it still looks pretty good, and it smells wonderful!

I really like the way my skin feels after using this soap!

I am really excited about learning this new craft and just ordered a WHOLE bunch more of supplies :) I can't wait to get it so I can start learning more techniques to create beautiful soaps like what you guys have been making!
*crossing fingers that the pictures will show*

Gorgeous, dragonlady! Love the pastel colors. Your soap looks like spring!

Cat, your soaps look yummy enough to eat! Great job!

Beautiful layers and swirling in the Citrus Fields soap, tcmatteson! Love the Break Time soap, too - the line of coffee grounds looks fabulous!

Hi there! :) I've been here lurking for a while, getting the feel of the forum. I wanted to share some pics of a baby shower gift I've been working on for a couple of weeks. The shower is this weekend. I wasn't sure where to post the photos, since there's some MP soap, some CP soap, and some bath supplies in with the gift, but I thought here would work out ok. I've only been making this type of thing since mid-Feb, and nothing is incredibly original, but I am kind of proud of these things, and wanted to share anyway! :)

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... hbomb6.jpg Baby Powder scented teddy bears/goats milk MP base from BB and Bubblegum scented clear glycerin onesies

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... hbomb3.jpg Stretch Mark Oil and Ducks in a Pond with Fiji Island Fragrance Oil

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... bomb16.jpg Baby Butt Balm (un-pet jelly) Coppertone (type) scented whipped Shea Body Butter, Chocolate covered strawberry lip balm

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... bomb15.jpg Handprints Avocado and Cucumber glycerin MP, Lavender and Lemon Shea Butter MP Bath Aspirin, Blood Orange Loofah clear MP

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... bomb14.jpg CP soaps (my first EVER! I think they came out ok!) Juicy (type) scented, activated coal top and Honey scented. Both olive oil, coconut out, crisco recipes.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... bomb13.jpg My first try with the water soluble paper. Scented with Monkey Farts

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/ ... bomb12.jpg The filled picnic basket. There's also an assortment of bath teas, a few solid bubble bars, a package of neapolitan sugar scrubs, a package of brown sugar scrubs, chocolate almond bath melts, baby towels, sea sponges, a back washer, and some cute rubber duckies in there. I *think* that's everything! I made a LOT of stuff!

That's part one. (Did I mention I went overboard making things? Because I clearly did! lol-couldn't stop once I started!)

The following are all bath bomb cupcakes with royal icing solid bubble bath icings. I made her a tower of 18 of these, and have a lot left over! She's getting 6 Viva La Juicy (type) scented ones (she really likes viva la juicy!) and 2 each of Chocolate Bomb/Buttercream icing, Green Tea Bomb/Honey Icing, Lemongrass bomb/Lavender Icing, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and Jasmine Bomb/Rose Absolute Icing, Grapefruit Bomb/Tangerine Icing, and Strawberry Bomb/Berry Insanity Icing.

I think that everything came out pretty good! :)
