Well today I poured at applesauce and it all went in the oven darn! That will be interesting to see how it works. Of course it was a floral, who knew! LOL

Yes at light trace I do the pour. There isn't a dowel across the top but I'm sure that would work. Those are deli tooth picks.

Well thank you all! I'm happy you enjoyed it also bubbles and luigi! Seems the ones in the photo were beginners luck! LOL Today's accelerated batch went into the oven not the refer to set up!

mella - those are great! I am going to try a "mella swirl" on my next colored batch. Now...lets talk about the title to this thread....

The 2 inch thick log is split into two 1 inch thick logs. The 1 inch logs are cut into bars to reveal the inside design. Like opening a present!

I see pretty green dancers in those soaps!

Dave I learned this from a sopa artisan in Spain the secret swirl, better know as the mantra swirl! Small world huh! I didn't want leave the impression that I made this up and it just dawned on me perhaps I left that impression.

PS I give up on changing the title of the thread. Does anyone know how to do that? TIA

Don't change the title. I for one clicked on it because I wasn't sure what it meant. If it hadn't piqued my curiosity I would have missed out on seeing your beautiful soap. They really are eye candy. I think Soap Dancer would be a great name for the soap!

Mella, I love your choice of color combination. What would be great is if you could do a video demonstration and post either here or on you tube, please? Or if you do not have the ability to do this maybe Ann Marie could do one? PLEASE?

Yes I did the swirl after the cook because by the time I poured the last bit into a sample mold the cardboard
dividers when pulled out of the soap actually left a space, a valley in the soap! That is a quick set up there! So I did the cook to bring the soap to full gel then did the swirl! LOL Save!! Lucky save I should say!

They are amazing! I do not understand still how they come out looking like that, but I love them. I am the worst with doing any kind of swirling.
